Warm up (5 minutes)
Sing a favourite song from this term and talk about what we have learned.
Main activities (20 to 25 minutes)
- 1Greetings station: Role play morning/afternoon greetings. Use the checklist to observe.
- 2Simple commands station: Simon says. Use the checklist to observe.
- 3Exploring My World station: Nature walk. Use the checklist to observe.
- 4Art and Design station: Free scribbling, finger painting, colouring with crayons. Use the checklist to observe.
Closing circle (5 minutes)
Show and tell: each child shares one thing they are proud of from this term.
Extra support
Spend longer at the stations where a child is still getting there, with an adult alongside.
Stretch
Children explain to a friend how to do an activity.
